SODA

Design requires no explanation.
Its intention should be revealed through the most simple and modest ways of interpreting and influencing the daily rituals of our lives.
Consequently Soda stands for the purity and clarity of this idea.

Privacy

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in compliance with the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). You have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection, insofar as this does not conflict with a statutory retention obligation. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data-protection laws or your data-protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, please contact us. You can also file a complaint with the regulatory authorities. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

We provide you with information here about the most important aspects of data processing within our website:

Access data/log files

We (or our webspace provider) collect data about all access to our website (so-called server log files). The access data includes: name of the retrieved webpage, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

We use the log files only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, safety and optimisation of our website. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the log files if, on the basis of specific evidence, legitimate suspicion of unlawful use exists.

Newsletter

If you give your consent, your name and e-mail address will be stored in our e-mail distribution list until further notice so that it can be included in the mailing of the newsletter, which also contains advertising information. The consent to receive the newsletter can be revoked by clicking on the link at the end of each e-mail. As part of the registration process, we or our newsletter provider store the user's registration, confirmation and IP address. We are legally obliged to log the registrations in order to be able to prove a proper registration.

Messages within the scope of a contractual relationship do not fall into this category. This includes the dispatch of technical information, information on payment processing, queries on orders and similar messages that you will receive even after unsubscribing from the newsletter.

The newsletter is sent via "MailChimp", a newsletter distribution platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.

The e-mail addresses of our newsletter recipients, as well as their other data described in the context of this notice, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, according to its own information, MailChimp may use this data to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimisation of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes in order to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or pass the data on to third parties.

We trust in the reliability and IT and data security of MailChimp. MailChimp is certified under the US-EU data protection agreement "Privacy Shield" and is therefore committed to complying with EU data protection regulations. In addition, we have concluded a data processing agreement with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp undertakes to protect the data of our users, to process it on our behalf in accordance with their data protection regulations and, in particular, not to pass it on to third parties. You can view the privacy policy of MailChimp here.
